' सेवा ' शब्द के कितने ही अर्थ होते हैं । सेवा शब्द जितना मीठा है सेवानृवृत शब्द उतना ही यांत्रिक । भगवान  की सेवा होती है तो नौकरी से सेवा नृवृति।  सेवा का अर्थ समर्पण से है । सेवा उसकी  की जाती है जिसको हम उस सेवा को पाने के योग्य समझते हैं। जो हमारे सर पर छत है जिसके बिना हमारा जीवन असम्पूर्ण है, उनकी ही बड़ी प्रेम भाव से हम सेवा कर सकते हैं।  इसलिए हम साहबों की सेवा नहीं, परन्तु उनकी खिदमत करते हैं। खिदमत का संबंध स्वार्थ तथा भय से है । सेवा का संबंध परमार्थ तथा विश्वास से । इसलिए 'गौ सेवा' है, गौ खिदमत नहीं ।  सेवानृवृत  का अर्थ है यांत्रिक, सेवा करने वाले का प्रेम-समपर्ण अनंत है अर्थात् इसका अर्थ मानव को एक यंत्र  समझना।  जब  गरूड़ श्री हरि की सेवा में गए तब उनकी माता का गर्व अलौकिक था । यदि गरूड़ सिविल सर्वेंट होते तो उनकी माता को यह आनंद मिल पाता क्या?

The Theme of Bharat Mata Visiting this pandal was so amazing. It was an excellent Durga pujo because the theme was our freedom struggle. Such an excellent theme to go with the durga pujo. The liberation of Bharat Mata from oppression and her subsequent victory is like Maa Himachal Kumari fighting the dirty and ugly Mahisasur. The firangis were barbaric too and they were as adharmi as the evil Mahisasur. So. I loved the pujo theme. Going there, I get to understand why so many Indians had shown Bharat Mata along the lines of a mother Goddess. Again there was a mela outside the pandal and I enjoyed papri chat, chhola ghugni, and kulfi. Also, I brought some chanachur outside the mela.
