Diary -24th July

I tried learning Greek and Japanese. German is too easy and boring but I will get back to it as soon as I can. I wonder why not learn pretty much any real language on Duolingo? It will give me the variety I want.  The Greek letters sound just like Hindi letters. But the Greek letters are also like English letters. Here is my secret to Indian English. In Japanese gohan is rice. It sounds like go or cow or white and anna which means grain. Recipes I want to try: https://www.archanaskitchen.com/vegetarian-thukpa-recipe-by-saransh-goila-india-on-my-platter/amp https://www.cookwithmanali.com/thandai-powder/ Maggie masale noodles tastemaker and maggie masala e magic recipe https://hebbarskitchen.com/maggi-masala-powder-maggi-masala-magic/ Science and animals Hippos  https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/2022/09/27/what-do-hippos-eat/10303668002/

Introduction to Indian Architecture

Image
Acknowledgment I watched a video on YouTube which showed how an Indian entrepreneur is using mud pots to build a natural air conditioning that uses only running water. Also, I was learning about natural air conditioning as used in deserts. It keeps the buildings cool in summer and warm in the winter.  Draw this yourself. Bâdgir is a traditional structure that makes the noisy fans and coolers belong to the bin. They are also used in India. And, the aforementioned entrepreneur was talking about the greatness of Indian architecture and that the blind imitation of the West is going to lead nowhere. So, I am trying to explore natural architectures built with science and sophistication and what better place to try and explore than my favorite place, India? So, a bit of net serfing and I found about sthapatya kala and vastu shilpa. Let me explore further.  Indian architecture- wiki Types of Indian architectures: Hindu temple architecture Indo-Islamic architecture- Rajput and Mughal a...

Diary 23rd July

My first ever Greek lesson and quite a learner I am.  And, the German practice. I have not forgotten a single word.  Returned to Duolinog after ages but now I am committed to continue.  I had a good shower, shikakai soap for hair and lifebuoy lemon fresh for skin. Then, I put on the most worn clothes and went off to bed. Also woke up in the middle of the night and treated myself with amul milk, yes, hot milk.  This is just the bedsheet pattern. I don't know why but I use it all the times still I can't stop being in love with the pattern.  And, cooked chat. My first chaat, it was. Experimental chaat. Boil tamarind water with chillies and salt. Get the chutney. Dice, boil and deep fry the potatoes. Sprinkle chanachur and chopped onion. Here is the homework but the time is just two days. submit on 26th July: Hw: make an assignment - Introduction to ancient Indian architecture.
