Natural notes on the piano
There are 7 natural notes on the piano represented by the white keys. The C major scale is formed of these 7 natural notes. This is the reason why C major scale is called the natural major scale. All other major scales use at least one sharp or flat note.
All white keys on a piano are natural notes. The natural notes (or tones) have no sharps or flats.
Sharp and flat notes on the piano
The black keys on the piano represent the sharp and the flat notes.
C sharp major scale on the piano
The first note is C#.
2. A whole step from C# takes us to D#.
3. Another whole step takes us to F.
4. A half step takes us to F#.
5. One whole step higher is G#.
6. Another whole step higher is A#.
7. Another whole step takes us to C.
8. And finally, a half step higher than C is C#.
The C sharp major key signature has 7 sharps.
No E is played here. Instead, we have F and F# and C and C#.
D major scale
D to E, (whole-step)
E to F# (whole-step)
F# to G (half step)
G to A (whole-step)
A to B (whole-step)
B to C# (whole-step)
C# to D (half step)
The D major key signature consists of two sharps.
( Play in the order of ABCD…)
Whole steps and half steps on the piano
An interval is a distance between two notes. In this lesson, we will only learn about the half and whole-step intervals. Since we haven't learned key signatures yet, we'll relate them to the key of C Major, which has no sharps or flats. The C Major scale starts from C and ends at C.
The distance from B to C is a half step because no other notes fall between them. The distance from A to B, however, is a whole step because it consists of two half steps.
Naturally occurring half steps
Each note is a certain distance apart from the next, and they form a pattern that repeats. All Major scales follow this exact pattern: W W H W W W H (whole, whole, half, whole, whole, whole, half). The distance between the first two notes in a Major scale is a whole step. The distance between the 3rd and 4th notes and the 7th and 8th notes are half steps. Those are the two naturally occuring half steps in a major scale.
In a major scale, there are two naturally occuring half steps. In the key of C Major, those two half steps are between B & C and E & F.

5 Ukulele Strumming Patterns For Beginners
https://www.stringvibe.com/ukulele-strumming-patterns/
Chords vs. Notes
A “note” is a single tone. Pluck one string, and you’re playing a “note.”
A “chord” is any combination of two or more “notes.”
So if you pluck two strings simultaneously, you are playing a “chord.” A chord, therefore, is made
up of a combination of notes. Any combination will make a chord. Of course, some chords sound
better than others. But even if you pluck two discordant notes simultaneously, and make an
awful, annoying sound, you are still playing a “chord.” It’s just an ugly chord. Maybe it’s better to
stick with the beautiful chords, unless you’re writing a song about fingernails screeching across
a blackboard.

10 (larghassimo)= revealing the sceneries at the beginning of a scene.
20 (Grave) = Beginning of a song that tells a story.
40 (Largo) = When you continue a story then it provides a quick interval between two of its sections.
60 (Larghetto) = When you continue a story then it provides a quick interval between two of its sub-sections.
70 (Adagio) = Before the beginning of narration
The same concepts apply for both ukelele and guitar. Ukulele is suitable for simplicity and rustic stories, guitar for sophistication and grandeur.
