This is a Jataka Katha story.
This story is in my language so no copyright problem
Once upon a time, there lived an old Grandma in a village. She did not have much money but had a very big heart. She had an elephant called 'Blacky'.
Blacky was a very kind elephant. The children in the village would ride Blacky's back. The children also shared their food with Blacky.
Many happy years passed this way.
One day, Blacky saw that the Grandma was shivering. Blacky asked why. The Grandma said that she was getting old. So, Blacky decided to help her.
Blacky wanted to do a job. So, he went to the river near the village. He had a cloth bag hanging round his neck.
Near the river, a merchant was carrying very heavy baggage.
The merchant saw Blacky and asked for help. He also promised that he would pay Blacky two gold coins for his services.
Blacky carried the luggage for the merchant. But, the merchant put only one gold coin in the bag around Blacky's neck.
Blacky saw this and got annoyed. So, he blocked the road. Now, the merchant could not pass the way. He tried to push Blacky out of the way. But, Blacky was far too big for the man.
Finally, the man relented. And, he gave Blacky one more gold coin.
Blacky unblocked the road and went back home with a smile.
