Now working for skunk I had this chance to conduct the demo class of a girl. She lives in Sikar, Rajasthan area, she is in 7th grade.
Her father is an honest and hardworking man. He looked like a simple Indian man and a good father.
He was with his daughter throughout the demo class.
And, imagine, it was 8am of 3rd Dec, yet the father sat on a Sunday morning with his daughter.
By the way, the girl is called Lovely and the father is called Mr. Premchand Kohli.
He said, 'Aap par bharosa hai'.
He also said that if Lovely improved then he would also want to admit Lovely's sister.
He said- Koi ho jo saheli ki tarah usse baat kare.
I was excited to work with Lovely. So, I filled a very happy but honest feedback form.
The counsellor got back to me because she was very excited too.
Then she enquired about the financial condition but I told her truthfully that the father said that he was a humble man and the girl went to a government school.
Ture, Lovely could not frame even simple sentences in English.
But, I want to teach her, I don't know why, I have this reckless urge to teach Lovely for it will educate me in the process.
The counsellor said, 'Our courses are very expensive, I know they should not be, but they are."
When I asked her how much then she said- Even for a 15 days class, per class rate would be Rs. 800 which means they would have to pay Rs. 1200.
It is fair enough for PS because it mainly aims at teaching those students who already speak or know English and want to become public speakers. Unlike Lovely, who just wants to learn to speak the language.
Because my India does not live in her cities, she lives in her villages. I want to serve my country. I know that Lovely may not join so after a week or so, I will contact them again.
Just look at the shine in her eyes.
Then, I will tell them that I can teach Lovely, but not as a PS teacher.
I will charge Rs. 400 per month which is just 25% of Rs. 1600 per month which PS is charging.
Then, I want to make YouTube videos for girls like Lovely for that is what Neela Skills Academy stands for.
When I started helping Lovely read the story of the Hare and the tortoise, she could do it because all children know the story.
I think guided readings of more stories which include fairytales like Hansel and Gratel or the Ugly Duckling would be amazing.
I want to start my own YouTube channel where I will write my own animated stories which will show on the screen just like this one and the children will love to read it.
Then I will also be able to say that if you want to read more such stories then go and buy it from the amazon kdp link.
I am noticing that people are no so much into public speaking as they are into enabling their children read out of a book or just converse in English.
I also met a boy whose father said that the boy can't read words bigger than three letters in English. That is all they wanted.
But, they are an affluent family so I won't contact them again. (Aarav Sangle)
And, now look at these three children-
I had to show them cartoon shapes of animals and teach them English names. They do not know that a 'khargosh' is a 'rabbit' and so on.
The father sends his children to a private school but their house does not even have a pucca roof, the walls show their simplicity. Their desire to teach their children is exemplary. The father was with the children throughout the demo.
They cannot speak English, let alone any kind of public speaking. This is the heart and soul of the Indian society, yet look at the shine in the father's eyes.
I know that he won't be able to afford it, nor do children who cannot even speak basic English need a public speaking class.
The father was even happily saying that he would soon buy a laptop for the kids. He wants to give the best to their children and it is that part of the Indian society which benefits me the most.
The next biggest part is that PS is not for them.
PS has this lms thing and a disastrous rating system. The LMS is such a soft contraption. Why can't they keep it simple, why can't they use google meet and whatsapp only when more often then not, their khataara lms fails and the resort is google meet? My gods! Bapu, bless me.
I have seen a successful model of Justwords being conducted only by using google meets, and google docs, and google spreadsheets. Do we really need one more khataara app?
How to do the marketing? I think following the model of both PS and Physics Wallah will be helpful in this regard.

One teacher plus one external supervisor who can join any time
Baba is going to say something about 3:1:1 model.
So one class gives rs 3000
6 hrs= rs 3000
1 hr= rs 500
Teacher gets 250/500 rs
So, a teacher gets rs 200-250 per hour
There will be no separate counsellors
The teacher will do it free of cost
This will be for the normal learning process
Then if the child wants to participate in speech or debate with others then they will need to pay rs 200 per debate or speech or extempore participation.
The teacher gets to keep rs 100/200 and it will be their duty to convince everyone to join.
I will make sure that the teachers and students don't have to use laptops
If i use pdf instead of ppt then it will be possible by screen sharing
When you create a youtube video where you teach programming then create relevant notes and share them on your medium blog. Also, share the link to your video on that blog.
The video will be bilingual but the blog will be only in English.
Also, send your youtube students to buy your udemy videos.
Because if you show them the good sites then they will know about good places and be directed to a good site.
Open google meet and share your screen.
It is because you can only record one tab in inbuilt recorder. If you change to another tab, the recorder will automatically stop. So, keep sharing screen and record the google meet.
If you need another participant then you join using phone from another account.
