Greta Thunberg's speech- How dare you? Infront of politicians
The room has ac and all midern appliances and they ruin nature.
Politicians are sitting in utmost luxury.
Greta is talking about the ecosystems collapsing and people dying there with so much anger and passion and these politicians are enjoying the performance.
This is the irony of Greta Thunberg. By inviting her, by applauding her, these babus are trying to show that they really care.
But how will the babu enjoying himself as Greta performs ever know what it is like to be a landslide victim in our Himalayas or walk miles balancing pots of water in our Thar desert or to die of cholera and typhoid in our Odisha floods?
By watching a wild panda or deer in the woods, you do not become an animal lover, you have to step off your car and live amidst them in caves if you are truly in love with them.
They are watching Greta perform, why is she enjoying herself in these meetings and waiting for her turn to perform? Why does she agree to sit down in that richly furbished room whose building and maintenance wreak havoc on nature?
People are dying and young Greta Thunberg is busy performing. Such is irony of all humanitarian things in the Western world snd the culture it enforces on us.
Dear westerners, please get civilized and stop this barbaric cycle you have introduced everywhere.
Let us use symbolism. Let us equate Greta's anger with hope and the greedy barbarian leaders as destruction.
Why does destruction pretend to cradle hope? So that it may operate unimpeded, unhindered. They will clap for only as long as that brings profit to these leaders and creates false hopes in Greta's minds. The day hope begins the topple the empire of barbarianism, the barbarians will crush it without remorse too. For, they are the barbarians. And, the corpse of hope will lay unrecognized somewhere in the poem called 'Ulysses'.
