How to draw sakura or Japanese cherry blossoms step by step tutorial blog 25

easy simple cherry blossom doodle for beginners step by step tutorial

So you and I have one thing in common. We both have liked and wanted to doodle cherry blossoms. You know what? I am a beginner like you and found this doodle very rewarding and satisfying so I make a step by step tutorial. Remember that this tutorial is just a guide and you may introduce any alterations you like. After all it is your art and you do what is the most comfortable and appealing to you.

I first took a piece of paper and decided to doodle away the flowers for some practice.

This is how I made a flower.

The petals made this way give a more realistic and attractive look. Don't you think so?

Then I show you the flowers whose we will make from the sides.

As simple as it seems.

Now make a line using browns for stems and pinks for cherry blossoms also called sakura.

You may make as many such lines as you like.

Now add the sided branches. You may add one or two flowers or even three depending upon your taste and the available space. The picture should not look cluttered but at the same time it should not look look vacant either.

Draw the buds for a more finished look. Add tender green stems for the buds.

I found some empty space so I filled it with some more flowers and decorated it with leaves.

How did your doodle turn out to be? Let me know in the comments. Love to doodle but more than that to read your comments. If you liked this tutorial then click on art  below for more such tutorials. Good bye and enjoy.
