How to draw beautiful nature scenery step by step tutorial blog29 watercolour fruit tree.

Sometimes I surprise myself with how much simple shape and a little bit of spare time could create. After all, I am a complete beginner when it comes to art. I brought a set of watercolours and a paint brush deciding that I would add some quality to my life by doing nothing. I am a person who rushes and works hard for success. There is nothing wrong with working to get what you want but sometimes it becomes important to spend some time with your own self, silence the outer and inner chaos and listen to the self. It needs rest and wants to appreciate itself for every small thing. Life is full of beautiful things which we choose to overlook in the hustle and bustle and we forget that there are simple things of beauty around us which are inexpensive and priceless. Plants are one of those and what looks more beautiful that an orange tree laden with oranges?

Load your brush with some brown and draw intertwining shapes like the number eight. This was the part where you had to focus. No need to make it symmetrical. The greater the casual imperfection the more natural it looks.

Thicken that shape and make some branches come out of it. There is no right or wrong way to do this. You can make any branches. Just try to relax and breathe life and imagination into your painting. Do not try to do it right!

Now your favourite shade of green. This asks for complete focus but at the end you forget all your worries. It demands your complete attention and everyone can paint a leaf but you will love to decorate it your way. So draw on.

Complete the leaves.

Now pick up orange colour. Wherever you find empty spaces, you can just draw the oranges of various shapes. Next draw some more leaves to fill in the gaps with some other shade of green. This process cheers you up.

Now the final touch. Add brown stems to the oranges and highlight the border of the main stem.
What you find in front of you is the most satisfying thing. How did your painting turn out to be? Let me know in the comments. Did you enjoy this process as much as I did? At the end of this painting I felt energetic and truly proud for myself. This is a small token of success and how incredible small things in life truly are. I suggest you maintain an art journal and whenever you feel lonely or downcast, only look at the journal. It will cheer you up. This is my guarantee. These blogs are my art journals through which I can both communicate to you and maintain records of what I had made. Going through these blogs does cheer me up.
